Looking for Staff

With the new publication being launched, I'm looking for staff to help me run TVG.

 

What I'm looking for initially are people who can begin working on finding material for Issue 2 onwards - although I don't have any problems with things coming-up for issue 1 either!

 

I'm looking, then, to find people who can do the following:

 

Articles Team

New Talent Editor

This member will find 'new talent', people who may be new to the Hobby or people who haven't written for zines before. This means getting these people to wrtie something about Dip or their experiences.

 

Variants Editor

To find people who will write articles about Dip variants.

 

Sites Editor

Someone who can get people to write articles about their sites: what the aims of the site are, how it's doing, problems it has overcome, what the site offers, etc. Principally this would be about sites where Dip is played, of course.

 

Each role, then, involves finding people to contribute and I'd prefer this to not be related to the website a team member comes from! So you need to able to find contributors from as many different places as possible. But, what I'd also want, is someone who, if they can't find a contributor, will fill any gaps themselves where this is appropriate. This means, therefore, that if you're the Variants Editor, you're interested in variants yourself.

 

And these are editorial roles. That means checking spellings, grammar (to some extent - I'm no grammar nazi: if it can be understood that's fine by me!), punctuation, layout, etc.) It may also mean sending articles back to contributors to improve or add material. You've got to have the skills to do that.
